If you are web designer or a graphics designer, then you already know that people use others photos on the internet a lot. Sometimes this is fine, if the author of the image has given expressed consent but many times, people simple steal an image and use it. We ran across a new site that actually lets webmasters look and see who else is using there images on other websites. This is a very userful tool for any webmaster to has created there own images and do not give others the right to use them.
Tineye is a free site to use and it is still in beta, however we have not had any problems as far as functionality goes. It seems to be working just fine. This site is very similar to copyscape but is for images not text, so webmasters, you really need to put this one in your backpack full of good tools.
You can simply upload the image you want to see where it is on the internet or you can give the link to the image you want to check out.
